Princess Watch - She's Going Home
Will picked Kate up today after 4 days in hospital. It's lovely to see her looking as smiley as usual. She'll be resting up at home until the New Year - Doesn't Will look happy to have her back.

Princess Watch - Kate's Having A Baby!
What wonderful news to wake up to although it has been tempered by the fact that Kate is very unwell and has been hospitalised necessitating the need to announce the pregnancy early.
THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE ARE EXPECTING A BABY
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.
The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.

Kate and Will at their last joint engagement at Peterborough Hospital
“HG is a debilitating and potentially life-threatening pregnancy disease marked by rapid weight loss, malnutrition, and dehydration due to unrelenting nausea and/or vomiting with potential adverse consequences for the newborn(s).”
I thought playing hockey in heels was impressive - but doing it while suffering from HG adds a whole new level of stoicism.
Kate has cancelled her next couple of engagements and Will spent the day with her at the hospital - here he is leaving last night. Hopefully Kate will be able to successfully manage her condition and enjoy the rest of her pregnancy.

Princess Watch - 3 in 1 Post
Kate visited her old prep school - St Andrews and after spending time with the kids couldn't resist joining in a hockey game.
Kate is wearing - Alexander McQueen coat dress in Black Watch tartan - a nod to St. Andrews Day. This is my favourite outfit in a long time.
Kate and Will were also out and about last week - they visited Cambridge - their namesake.
Kate wore - MaxMara coat.
The night before this outing Kate attended an event at the National History Museum on her own.
She also bebuted a hair cut which had everyone in a flap!
Kate wore - her jade green Mulberry dress.

Princess Watch - Going Solo
Kate had a day by herself in Newcastle today as William was attending the funeral of his much loved childhood nanny.
Kate wore - a coat thought to have been designed by Kate and made by an independent dressmaker.
Kate charmed the socks off everyone and spent a large portion of the day hugging people and crouching to talk to small people.
Will's day was not spent in such a happy manner - he was joined by his Aunts, Lady Jane and Lady Sarah, Diana's sisters to farewell his nanny Olga Powell. He was also representing Harry who is still on deployment in Afghanistan.
I just read this today and it touched a chord so I'm popping it here for a lack of somewhere better to post it.....
“As the interview wore on, I did find myself thinking about all the things that have been said about them – and about Kate in particular – over the long vacuum of the past eight years. Here sat a couple who know that they can never, ever divorce and who have responded to this by taking an incredibly long, hard and very, very thoughtful look at the question of marriage.
And how did a lot of us respond? By dubbing her Waity Katie. Kind of pathetic, isn’t it?
I thought of my wife Claudia, who collaborated with Kate on a series of jewellery pieces at Junior Jigsaw (Claudia is a designer) and reached a pretty firm conclusion in that period: ‘She’s a diamond; kind, loyal, decent, very beautiful. The Royal Family is exceptionally lucky to have her.’
And I thought of the Middleton parents, so often maligned for having the temerity to be successful in business and produce a happy, stable family. Honestly, I wonder what’s wrong with us sometimes.”

Princess Watch
Off to the football - Will and Kate visited St.Georges Park today for the official opening of the Football Assoc's new state of the art facility.
They did the usual things - met the athletes, revealed a plaque, made a speech, walked around a lot and generally thrilled everyone just with their presence.
Kate wore a coat by Reiss from their 2010 collection.

Princess Watch - Middle Temple
Just when you thought it was safe to read this blog again - Will and Kate have been out and about! Today they visited Middle Temple in London to launch a scholarship for law students from disadvantaged backgrounds, in their name.
This is Kate's first public outing in the UK since her topless photos were released. Clearly she is unfazed by the furor.
Kate is wearing a suit by French brand Paule Ka - holding no grudges against the French despite the photo scandal.

It's All Over!
Well it's all over - another Royal tour done and dusted. What on earth am I going to do with myself now with no new Will and Kate pics on the horizon? To finish off here is Kate's last day on tour....
Fare-welled in Tuvalu...
wearing Project D - Dannii Minogue's label no less!
Flew to Brisbane to catch their connecting flight back home...quick change at the airport for the long haul back to the cooler weather.
It's ridiculous how disappointed I am that the tour is over - I may have to resort to writing fan fiction! I wonder if K & W fan fiction even exists? Best I go and find out.......

Royal Tour - Tuvalu
On arriving in Tuvalu Will and Kate were carried by throne to a fete where Will made a speech on behalf of the Queen. They then visited Nauti Primary School and the University of the South Pacific.
In the evening they attended a traditional dinner hosted by the Governor General of Tuvalu. This dinner turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip with Will and Kate joining in some traditional dancing!! What a fabulous way to end the tour with a glimpse of the couple at their most relaxed.

Royal Tour - Goodbye Solomon Islands
W&K travelled back to Honiara this morning where they departed the Solomons and are now winging their way to Tuvalu.
Kate is wearing - a primrose lace dress dotted with flowers that was made for her by an independent dressmaker. I think this might be one of my favourites of the tour.
