My Brave Boy

It was my little Moondoggie's first day of 3 year old kinder today but instead of tripping off to meet all his new buddies he spent the day here......

Because he did this.... (warning - this is a little off) (LEFT arm for those of you who completely missed it)

Due the the random nature of the universe Moondoggie launched himself from the 3rd step of the bunk ladder in a bid to defeat the enemy of all Power Rangers and instead of landing with a flourish as he has done a
dozen times before, he landed with a snap!

Needless to say he did not make it to kinder today.
Although 24 hours spent in emergency at a public hospital is hideous it has provided me with enough musing to write posts until Easter. Until tomorrow .... this wrung-out mother is off to bed with a hot cuppa and to have the cry I have been saving up since yesterday morning at 8.15am!

Will freaked when I showed him that photo. Did you go all weak at the knees and swoon like a good Georgette Heyer heroine? Seeing that would definitely have had that effect on me.

Poor darling. The photo is positively freaky.

On the positive side he will have a fabulous story to tell when he is in his teens and looking for some tough guy cred.

WHOA! How the hell did he do that? I thought Power Rangers were unable to be hurt! He certainly has done a good job on himself, obviously like Father like son. Let him know that we all hope he gets better soon and his cousin Tom is impressed with such a good injury so early in his career.

Love from all.

Jen – oh my goodness – that arm makes me feel giddy – can’t imagine how it made you feel.

Did he get operated on?

Hope he is doing well and hopefully at home by now?

You may well need some nursing as well?

Will give you a call as very curious!

Ouch! I didn't notice the weird arm angle until I looked at it the 2nd time. Look at the grin on his face, the little trooper.

I hope you have recovered from the trauma of seeing your child in hospital. It's heart wrenching, especially when you have to be strong for them.

Oh...yeow...poor him...poor you...

Isn't that a little of an extreme way to avoid starting kinder?

What do you mean “a little off”??? That was horrible. Nice picture though. The girls say hope Beagsy is feeling better.

oh i know exactly how you feel... the tears are close to the surface but i don't think i've stopped for long enough to let them out! we love them so much that when something like this happens, our hearts bleed and our bodies and minds go into overdrive to make sure they are okay.

hope you and your brave little man are feeling better soon :)

Oh the poor little fella!
How terrible for both of you.
I hope he (and you of course) are feeling okay now.
