Bye Andy

It only took 18 months for cancer to claim the life of the beautiful Andy Whitfield.  He died today from non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and leaves behind his wife, Vashta and a son,6 and a daughter, 3.

Andy was born in Wales but has been an Australian since his parents moved here in 1999.  He acted in shows such as McLeod's Daughters, Packed To The Rafters and All Saints before landing the role of a lifetime - SPARTACUS.

Andy was a beautiful soul who handled his illness with grace and dignity.  He will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor was an icon in the truest sense of the word long before she passed away yesterday at the age of 79.
