Where's Flashdance?

A friend of mine was watching a special called top 10 songs from 80's movies, here is their list:

10. Psychadelic Furs - Pretty in Pink
9. Kokomo - Cocktail
8. Who Can it be Now - Business As Usual
7. Wonderful World - Good Morning Vietnam
6. Into the Groove - Suddenly Susan
5. View to a Kill - Bond
4. Take My Breath Away - Top Gun
3. IKO IKO - Rainman
2. I've had the time of my life - Dirty Dancing
1. FOOTLOOSE

She emailed me to see if I thought there was a glaring omission!!
What do you think?

There is no way on earth View To A Kill should be there above Flashdance.

tony - don't you be dissin' my Duran boyz...

I was listening to "If You Leave" this morning via my brickie's radio and thinking of my wistful 80's self, dreaming of being Pretty in Pink, and all the rest ...

*sigh*

It was some lovely daydreaming :)

I can't get past the fact there's no Flashdance.

Glad to see Footloose in there though.

thanks for the tip about YouTube and Lauren Graham. Have been wasting way too much time watching her, and thinking about your post on the top 80s songs in movies. Sadly I couldn't think of any others.

Have you seen Music and Lyrics? Nothing deep and heavy, but Hugh Grant's film clip for "Pop goes my heart" is hilarious. If you haven't seen it I think you'd enjoy it.

Just watched a repeat of the American Country Music awards. That Kenny Chesney song "Don't blink" has me blubbering every time. I didn't even realise he'd been married to Renee Zellweger!
