Sometime last week he decided that he didn't like our current gates which, by the way, are perfectly fine and are the same as the rest of the fence! He subsequently disappeared out to his shed for hours at a time.

He designed his own to match the little gate he made for me when the fence was built.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new gates, but really... were they necessary??
Half an hour after fitting the new gates he started looking around for a new project!!!! What is wrong with just lounging around doing nothing all weekend? I seem to be able to manage it.

You could rent him out !!!
Jen, you're so lucky. Rather than encourage him to put his feet up, give him clippings of great things to build from your favourite mags. I've been waiting for 6 months for Will to put 4 tiny door handles on our built in robes. Waiting, waiting...
Beautiful gates! Lucky you
I'm all for a bit of lounging myself too.
However, those are pretty amazing gates!
As the owner of the ugliest front fence and gates in the southern suburbs I am extremely jealous of your lovely frontage.
Feel free to send your husband to my side of town any time.
Good effort! You should definitely channel that crazy energy of his, though.
those are beautiful. When you guys move next door he can help dave learn all sorts of new tricks.
