Melt With You - Modern English 1982

I wish I had remembered this song when I got married. It is such a lovely song. In 1982 'Melt With You' made me want to fall in love. I was 14 years old and couldn't wait. Melt With You was also from the soundtrack of Valley Girl which I watched over and over again. There are definite shades of 'Depeche Mode' in Modern English, another reason this song resonates with me. For those of you who don't know it - please give it a listen, it's worth it. (Perhaps close your eyes though as the film clip is nothing to get carried away about.)

Catchy!! But your right the film clip does nothing for the song but I suppose back all those years when you were 14 it probably did :-) Might listen to it again ......

I loved this song too, but what would you have done - marched down the aisle to this tune?!!! Had it sung by your best gf? jw - !!
ahahahaah - so funny to think about. God, the years have flown by, I was 28 when this came out, 53 now. Sad.....

Thanks for your comments about Queen Lizzy as you call her!! Love that! I loved the pix of her in the cloak the best too. So Wuthering Heights. She looks just like her mother in the first pix - did you notice that?

Thanks again.
