Soft Cell - Tainted Love

I don't know if anyone else owns the Soft Cell album but it's worth buying for the fabulous 'Sex Dwarf'. This album is only second in 'Aceness' to Kagagoogoo's 'Erganomics'. (Now if you own both of those albums you can join my gang!)

Tainted Love is my all time favourite song, closely followed by Wild, Wild Life by Talking Heads. I know my choice dates me more completely than a birth certificate could!
Oh, and Marcus Graham? Now there's serious eye candy. Those eyes!!

Got to do the wrist-banging thingy with Tainted Love! I taught the kids recently.
I love that you used the word Ace. My sister and I releasing our inner Bogans and trying to bring back "Grouse" as well.

Oh Tainted love - we used to sing it while we got changed for sports in the PE room and the teacher would stand outside yelling at us to hurry up and stop singing.
Best delivered while standing on the bench with your impulse deodrant as a microphone !!!!
Please let me be in your gang- I still know all the words!

Jen,

You know I love you and all that,

but I swear you might have the worst taste in music I have ever seen.

And as you could probably predict I have Tainted Love firmly stuck in my head and will for the next few days.

Dear God.

the first time I ever heard this song was at a Carey 'disco' in year 8 and I thought it was the best song ever. I didn't own the album but I remember a friend of mine taped '1982 with a bullet' for me and put 'Tainted Love' on the tape as well. Wow, it rocked!

Oh Jenny....you have just made my day! I love Tainted Love, and it brings back many an 80's memory....some good and some a little embarrasing.
